Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center

For the 12 hours we were there, we couldn't have been happier with the hotel and staff. The room was large and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was much better than the standard American hotel free breakfast and included GOOD coffee (Starbucks). Front desk staff was cheerful and efficient. If I ever find myself in Columbus again, I will stay there. I'm giving this hotel a "10", not because it's the fanciest or most luxurious place in the world, but because they do what they do extremely well and obviously take pride in their work, and all at a very reasonable price.

We arrived early to an exceptional property, via automobile. Our purpose was to relax for a mini-vacation. We easily found the hotel, and check-in was a breeze (even though we arrived a bit early). The staff were welcoming, informative and accommodating. The property was exceptionally designed with flora and fauna, a beautiful fountain in a small lake, the pools (indoor and outdoor) were clean, appealing, with umbrella tables. We requested a queen suite which had a living room, mini-fridge (with space), a microwave, the room opened into a living room provided with an exceptional couch, desk with chair, and a 2-queen size bed, bedroom with doors, The bathroom area was clean and well-stocked, along with an iron and in-room safe. Across the hall was a laundry facility. The atmosphere was friendly, lively (2 weddings) and happy families--because the hotel staff were so helpful and welcoming to everyone. During our stay, we experienced very friendly people (both guests and staff), and our stay was the most accommodating I have experienced---the Pub had both indoor and outdoor seating, and the dining room was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably (and the breakfast staff was very helpful and friendly--the breakfast was superb-fruit, specialty eggs, meat, toast, French toast brulee, fresh fruit, beverages, with real plates/flatware. During this trip we wanted for nothing, but had we needed anything extra outside the hotel, the area provided a full range of shopping to meet most any need. I highly recommend Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center, which provides the very best service I have experienced in my travels.

I have stayed here in the past and the receptionist remembered me and was as warm and welcoming as ever. The hotel also has beautiful grounds and is close to all the amenities you could need and is just across the road from Highbanks Park so is perfectly placed for those who like to walk. The rooms are generously sized ( especially the suites) and very well equipped. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a quiet spacious room in a great setting.

The rooms were very nice. The pub and the bartender at the pub were awesome. The location was very convenient. The staff at the front desk was simply amazing. It’s very hard to encounter pleasant employees at most establishments these days. Both at check-in and checkout, they were exceptional.

The location was great! The property was beautiful, even in the winter. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
